Used to adapt 1″ male pipe to 1 3/4″ male ACME. Some kits require you to change connections on scene, this increases time and adds to the possibility of leaks due to higher stress levels.
One end of the adapter is a male 1 ¾” ACME which is the same type of connection you find on a fill valve and the other end of the fitting is FNPT (female pipe thread).

This is the same adapter used to adapt the 1/2″ male pipe to 1-3/4″ female ACME systems. If you own one of the OLD red dragon flares their kit requires you to switch out connectors to change propane connectors. With these added to your system (one required per adapter) there will will be no more getting out the tools when the job changes.
